Spanish II

This course will continue to develop students’ skills in Spanish in all three modes of communication and five communication strands according to the Arizona World and Native Languages Standards and ACTFL (American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages) anticipated outcomes: Interpersonal Communication, Interpretive Reading & Listening, and Presentational Writing & Speaking. Emphasis is placed on real-world application of language skills. Cultural competence will also continue through the use of authentic resources and cultural themes. Students will be expected to actively use their language skills each day to build proficiency.
