Mesquite Junior High 8th grader Stella Nabboud was recognized by the GPS Governing Board for her outstanding 7th-place finish at the District Spelling Bee.

Stella navigated a grueling series of rounds to emerge as one of the top eight spellers in the entire district. Her commitment to academic excellence and her skill in word analysis have earned her the honor of representing both Mesquite Junior and Gilbert Public Schools at the regional competition this year.
